We have sent you to our blog, forum and web site to find some really great freebies, but do you realize that there are Freebies everywhere if you just know where to look?  I have talked about samples, and free items from the internet, but that is not the only place to find something that is free!

Think about the last time you went shopping, did your retailer have a special that you could have taken advantage of.  This past Holiday season was a great time to pick up some terrific free deals.  There were many stores offering deals that if you bought one the second one was free.  It was not just food stores doing this, but some of the clothing stores were offering deals that were just too great to pass up.  Many times when you are food shopping they do have offers if you buy one then the second one is free.  You just need to start looking for those deals and take advantage of them when you see them.  Right now one of our local Super Markets is offering a free Antibiotic prescription.

Stores are not the only place to get something for free.  Today I was on a Free Advertising site, and there were items listed there for free.  The deal was that you had to come and get them and take them away.  There was a couch, chair, bed, and several other items.  There are people who would rather give their items away, rather than spending the time and energy to sell the item.  Look for these deals. One of the places that you can look for free items is Craigslist.  Look also in your newspaper classifieds as you might find right what you are looking for in your local area.  My own dad gave his camper away for free, he was too old to use it and wanted someone to enjoy it.

Another really good source of finding something for free would be from a garage sale or a yard sale.  Go to sales at the end of the day.  Often the person having the sale just wanted to get rid of the items.  They don’t really want to have to bring them back into their house.  Don’t be afraid to offer to take them away for them, if they will give them to you.  The worse that can happen is that they can say no.  The best is that you might be able to get that lamp or table you were looking for and yes, you got it for Free.
